Kingdom of God

This morning on the bus while I was reading the book "Smith Wigglesworth on Healing", while I was at this part, I stop and I saw something I never saw before.

Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God...[For] that which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, "You must be born again." (John3: 3, 6-7)

I was fasinicated by this part"unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." The world cannot see the kingdom of God. The world portraits majesty of men, suffering of men, unfortunity and fortunity of men, schemes of men and skills of men. Jesus said, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Can you see the kingdom of God? While Jesus walked on this earth, He saw nothing by kingdom of God. He was not moved by anything but the movement of His Father. He saw no blindness but sight, He saw no lack but 5000 fed plus 12 basket leftover, He saw no demon-possessed men but sound minds. He knew clearly men are subject to the power of darkness, and He knew clearly He came to show us the kingdom and moreover grant us the kingdom. And even He suffered, He suffered with the consious of the kingdom above, and He saw you, and He saw me granted the citizenship of the kingdom above by His death and resurrection.

Let me quote something that Smith Wigglesworth said in the book after reading of the scripture passage above:

Oh, if you only knew what those words mean. To be born of God! It means no less than God being born anew in us - a new order of God; a new plan; a new faith by God; a new child of God; a new life from God; a new creation living in the world but not of the world, reigning in life over all the powers of the world, over whom "sin shall not have dominion" (Rom. 6: 14)

See that? Oh? Really? if only you knew what those words mean. Pause a long while, looking at the world through the window of the bus, what am I aware of, I asked myself, the world that I am living in or the true realm of God?

The access to the realm of God is free, because we can never by any means afford it. The door to the Holy of holies was open by the Lamb walking in with His own blood in His hand. And pray tell me, if the door is open for me who can stop me from going in? And if I step in, no one can get me out of it ever again.

And since the Word said to me granted the power to overcome, what can make me to be defeated? And if "sin shall not have dominion" over me? what can make sin has dominion over me again. And if sin shall not have dominion over me, any consequence and punishment of sin shall not have dominion over me as well.

I now understand why Jesus' blood not only washed our sin but also purged our conscience. For a perfect conscience is not aware of the things of this world (awareness of this world will cause worry and fear and anxieties) but concious of the kingdom of God which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Faith takes no effort if you are living in kingdom of God.

Are you in the kingdom of God? If you are born again, are you aware that there is a change of realm for those who believe?

While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

(2 Cor. 4: 18)

What do you look at?

Humorous God

Dad indeed has a unique sense of humour.

Haha, laughing out loud while I was reading the latest KCM newsletter by Kenneth Copeland, share with you here:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
September 12 - Change the Image
Dear Lan,
"For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." (Romans 8:24-25)
According to Romans, hope is actually looking at something that you can't see. How do you do that? You do it by looking at the promises of God in the Word until with your inner eyes--the eyes of your spirit--a picture is formed. For example, one of the hardest things I ever had to do was face the fact that the inner image I had of myself physically was fat. (lol lol lol) It didn't matter how hard I tried to change, it wouldn't go away. I was always on a diet. I must have lost (and regained) hundreds of pounds over the years.
I finally had to admit that as long as my inner image of myself was fat, my outer self was going to match it. Remember, it's faith that changes things, and without the inner image of hope, faith cannot work.
So I decided to fast for seven days. I searched my Bible for every scripture I could find on food and eating and I found many.
I meditated on every one of those scriptures and prayed in the Spirit for seven full days. What was I doing? I was laying hold on a different inner image.
This is not something you can do overnight. It takes time. Especially if the inner image you're changing has been there for years.
But you can do it. Go to the Word of God today and begin to change the images inside you. Change them from images of despair to images of hope. Get a blueprint in your heart and your faith will build on it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lol, I can't help but laugh again while I am reading it here. I am not laughing at Kenneth Copeland but I really felt loved. Daddy knows me too well, and loves me too well. Well, I share the same fear with Kenneth Copeland.

And I understand when Kenneth Copeland said "I finally had to admit that as long as my inner image of myself was fat, my outer self was going to match it. Remember, it's faith that changes things, and without the inner image of hope, faith cannot work. "

That is exactly what Daddy taught me.

As one of brother said, faith starts from inside out. God changes us inwardly first always.

Where there is a fear of death, God planted the hope of life;
Where there is a fear of rejection, God planted the hope of acceptance in His Son;
Where there is a fear of proverty, God planted the hope of riches in heaven;
Where there is a fear of hell, God planted the hope of heaven;
Where there is a fear of being fat, God planted the hope of beauty and slim.

There is no problem to small to Him, whatever concerns you, concerns Him.

P.S: Can see Him laughing together with me, lol.. He winks at me also...lol...

P.S.S: put it into practice, I am going to meditate on Song of Solomon 2: 2

Like a lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters

Think lily is quite slim. :p

Big Hug, Daddy! lol...can't stop laughing

Something About You

Feeling like embraced by Jesus the whole day, like a little gal sitting on Daddy's lap. Fear has no place to stay.

Sometimes we feel good, sometimes we feel bad, sometimes we feel God, sometimes we feel fear

But thank goodness, Jesus is the same Jesus every moment of today!

He is such a beautiful God, I could trade my anything to know Him. Yet He came and said, nope, I need nothing from you, I traded My Life, My Blood for the smile of your face, the sparkling in your eyes, the stablity of your steps and eterinity of your life. You are Mine.

In Numbers 12, when Aaron despised Moses because of his Cushite wife, God defended Moses,

4 At once the LORD said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, "Come out to the Tent of Meeting, all three of you." So the three of them came out.
5 Then the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the Tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When both of them stepped forward,
6 he said, "Listen to my words:
"When a prophet of the LORD is among you,
I reveal myself to him in visions,
I speak to him in dreams.
7 But this is not true of my servant Moses;
he is faithful in all my house.
8 With him I speak face to face,

clearly and not in riddles;
he sees the form of the LORD.
Why then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?"
(AMP)

What do you think if the LORD of the host defend you this way? Do you envy Moses that the Creator of heaven and earth defended and sided him?

Yet what you see in book of Hebrews

For this One (Christ) has been counted worthy of MORE GLORY than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house.

Hebrews 3:3 (Emphasis added)

And know How much God loves you? - He put you in Christ.

You are all that I need
The only treasure I seek
You're the air that helps me breathe
through the darkest night when
I fall down on my knees
I was blind but now I see
You are all that I need

- Taken from Corrinne May's All That I Need

A Divine Book

Book of Hebrew is really divine. I am reading it and asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the greatness of those revelations to me.

I am still stuck at chapter 1, marvelled at the revelations that the writer of book of hebrew had. It is not a book that could be understood by human minds. Ya, got to switch off my mind to read it..lol

look at verse 3
who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inhertance obtained a more excellence name than they.

Can you see, the writer sum up the whole gospel by a sentence! lol that is pretty amazing!

I will have a fun time exploring it, I blieve.

Haha, drinking still..

You Reign with Christ

God has placed keys for us to be more than conquerors in our lives, we don't have to passively accept whatever comes to our way, whatever the enemies throw in our lives.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 Kings 20
Talking about king of Israel Ahab.
vs 1- 6
Ben-Hadad, the syrian king gathered forces against king of Israel, sent messenger to king Ahab to ask for his silver and gold, loveliest wives and children. When Ahab consented to it, Ben-Hadad asked further more to take away EVERYTHING that was pleasant in Ahab's eyes. Does that sound familiar to you? Have you heard of the voice of the enemy threatening you to stop your unsaved family members from salvation, stop your business from prospering, stop your love ones to love you, and threatening to take away everything you have?
Do not accept it or even entertain it. For the Lord is your Saviour.
God is gracious, more gracious than you can ever imagine. The only thing we need to do in our lives is to believe God is gracious, and this belief is not without any foundation:
While I was reading 1 Kings 20, I just marvelled at verse 7, SAD! Isn't it? When king of Israel facing a trouble, he sought first the counsel of men. That just showed that he had no even bit of idea of whom this God of Israel is. Thank God for godly counsel though, the elders and all the people said "DO NOT LISTEN OR CONSENT"
Yes, do not even listen to satan, he has no power in our lives, to see him as someone powerful is to underestimate the power of your Savior, and belittle the value of what Christ had done on the cross.
Yet God didn't turn his back to Ahab, He told the prophet to tell Ahab to confront the enemy.
I love verse 13 and 14. That is my Daddy's style.
Suddenly a prophet approached Ahab king of Israel, saying, "Thus says the LORD: 'Have you seen all these great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into your hand today, and you shall know that I am the LORD.'"
So Ahab said, "By whom?" And he said, "Thus says the LORD: 'By the young leaders of the provinces.' Then he said, "Who will set the battle in order?" And he answered "You."
1 Kings 20: 13-14
See that? God deliver the enemy into Ahab's hand. Ahab obviously had no idea of what was going on and kept on asking "By whom"
I love what the prophet answered - simple yet profound "You"
You, not anyone else, you are the king in your territory. You set the army in order, you fight and God will deliver the enemy into your hand. For sure, no doubt. And in New Convenant, mind you, you don't even have to fight, just stand firm in the Light without fear. For "you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light" (1 Peter 2: 9)
I loved what my pastor said, Jesus is the King of kings, Lord of lords, why? Because we are the kings, He is the King above us, we are the lords, He is the Lord above all!
Have you thought about having saved you, why don't God just bring you back to home, to His side with all the unclouded happiness and joy? Why must God sent the Helper- Holy Spirit-indwell in us? Nope, God didn't leave you here so that you can have a taste of bit hell and appreciate heaven's greatness, nope, you are wrong! We stay to proclaim the praises of Him, we stay for a dying world. For God so loved the world, that He sent His own Son. And now we are in the Son, we are the representives of God in front of men, we stay to be the extention of God's love to men, do you understand?
Why God had to send a prophet to Ahab? For Ahab knew not about God nor listen to the great King. God' heart is so great that even Ahab acknowledge not God of Israel, God extend His grace by sending someone to assure Ahab. Do we need that? Yes, but God didn't just send a prophet. He sent the One who has fulfilled all the prophecies of old - His Son Jesus Christ! And Jesus shed His blood for the remission of sin. And God sent His own Spirit in us to be the Hope of all His glory in our lives.
You reign! For Christ is in you, the hope of the glory.
P.S. When you are reading this entry, do not think that "you", "you" is refering to you who are reading it. Haha, this "you" is me. By the authority of God's word, I am proclaiming God's goodness to my soul. For my spirit is alive, yet my mind needs to be taught to function not as the world but as in the realm of God. For the Spirit touches my mind, revitalize my body. As a new creation of God, I learn day by day to stand on His convenant. For He loves me. And you need not anyone teach you, for He loves you and He teaches you personally. I always tell myself, "If you ever see how good God is, you will face your life without fear"
There is more to life than life itself, for we are granted the authority in Christ. The power of God rested upon us from the day of pentecost. There are two places you can draw strength from, one is flesh which had already nailed to the cross with Christ, and end result would be death; the other place is the Spirit who carries oracle of God, bears witness with God's truth. He is the eternal Strength carries you all the way from here to eternity.
God Bless! He indeed blesses always!
For As the Heaven are High Above the Earth
Sometimes we read as if we don't. Words passing through our minds leave no impression. And this afternoon, while I was just typing out some powerpoint slides, I came across this:
For as the heaven are high above the earth,
So great is His love for those who fear Him.
-Psalm 103: 11 (NIV)
When I was about to type out the next line, I stop, I went back to read again. For as heaven are high above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him.
Suddenly the scene flashed back my mind that I was standing leaning on a wall and looked up the sky for a long while when I was 7, asking myself if there is anyone out there above the sky that my eyes can reach. It was autumn, leaves started to fall, sky was blue and high, the wind was chilled. And I know now that even at that time, God was calling me, and He had put a little hint in my heart that one day I would meet up with this Guy above the sky.
If I would measure my pain, it would be only the betrayal and madness of someone I care, but if I would measure His love, the sentense in Ps.103: 11 is an understatement. To be licking my pain is to set my mind on things of this earth and slapping away the measureless love of God. But to be stabled by His love, the mortality was swallowed up by Life.
"I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die and of the son of a man who will be made like grass?"
- Isaiah 51: 12
Don't you just love Holy Spirit. He will always, at all times, comfort you with the right word at the right time. Sometimes all it takes is only a "Pause! and think, do you really understand what God means?" with a eternal smile on His face.
Cast the branch into water, the bitter water will become sweet to taste. He is the LORD that heals.
Only Believe
Life changing...
Immanuel's messages are always simple yet life-changing. I think that is called anointing.
I am reminded of this part of the Scripture by his works on net:
For we are not, as so many pedding the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.
- 2 Corinthians 2: 17
I come to understand Caleb slowly when he was boasting in the LORD saying those giant are bread for us to eat.
Many people including me like to have a trouble free life. No problems, everything just goes fine. Shall I be studying, I study; Shall I be working, I work; Shall I marry, God sends someone right at my door. Shall I have a house or a car, God just gives money. No one want to be toiled by problems. Yet Caleb had different spirit, he said those giant are bread. They are there to strengthen us, nourish us and help us grow.
God didnt promise trouble-free, but He did promise us of peace and sure victory.
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. - John 16:33
Take a close look at this verse,
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace - see the way we remain in peace, in shalom that is not of this world but of God is to listen to Jesus' word. The words that He speaks over us would keep us in Him and so obtain peace.
In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer - Jesus sandwich this trbulation part in between peace and joy (Be of good cheer). Though there is tribulation, but God didn't just leave us to face everything by ourselves but sandwich us by His peace and His joy. The reason that we can be of good cheer is
I have overcome the world - The people of the world is trying to find happiness. They try hard to motivate themselves and make themselves happy, but for us there is no reason that we could not be cheerful, for Jesus the Lord of heaven and earth has overcome the world for us. And while in the midst of tribulations it is vital for us to immerse ourselves in the reality of victory of Christ. This is no theory, this may save your life or your love ones life in the time of need. To be convinced fully that there is nothing that would be impossible for God.
I have just read an account of testimony yesterday, 7 physician came and testified the death of the man, but the wife refused to believe in the account of men, she chose to believe in God that God promised her He will save her husband (her husband was not saved before the accident happened). And she was holding on that if God said so, it is so. She just tarried there to wait for God confirmed His word. She received not confirmation of death from men but insisted on confirmation from God of life.
God never fails, that man is still alive today to testify God's eternal mercy and grace.
That is faith. Faith is not trying to believe, faith is the result of believing in God and thus bring God's result in our lives.
How do we have this kinda faith? This you shall not have me to tell you how, for the Lord Himself earnestly wills to guard you and guide you by His love.
The more you draw close to Jesus, the more you can't believe any other account but His, the more you can't turn anywhere but believe.
My Daddy's Shoulder
Mom said Dad isn't happy that I got another Daddy, my real GOD Dad...lol...
There is none else who cares for me like He does.
When I am not happy, I choose to lean my head on my Daddy's shoulder. There is where I found my strength and comfort and eternal care.
Daddy's shoulder is big and wide, He carries the whole universes after universe, yet for me, He will leave everything just run to me and embrace me in His arm and tell me again and again, He loves me.
I am surrounded by His love.
I like to sit on His shoulder and look at everything from that position, and things of the world just become small, for Daddy is BIIIIIIIIIG.
He will never be tired of craddling me and loving me.
I love my Daddy's shoulder.
There is More to Life than Life itself
Hmmmm, this title came from Imm's mouth while I was conversing with him through MSN. I have read his latest entry about love. (Go and read it!!) And there was this part I don't quite understand.
God breathes after us. See I am quite set in the mindset of we glorify God, quite new to me when he was saying God breathe after us.
Halfway before he explained it, it was my lunch hour, grabing "Smith Wigglesworth on Healing", I told him I will be back after a while.
I was eating and I was reading, and toward the ending of the book, this part jumping out and hit me right on my face, "the Holy Spirit is breath". God breathes after us for He granted the breath of life - the Holy Spirit. I quickly finished my lunch and came back to my computer and told Imm about that...This is the part that I understood throught the illumination of the Spirit.
God's saving power not only saved us from world of darkness (tradtional way of thinking on the topic of salvation) but also convey us into the kingdom of light.
When we read the Bible, especially in the book of Acts, we can see that God confirmed His word always by signs and wonders. God didn't just speak to us setimentally, but every word that proceed from the mouth of God brought result into the situations. There is part of understanding through faith and there is part of magnifestation by God's power. Do we need God's wonders and signs to confirm our blief? No, absolutely no! But signs and wonders, they are following after God's powers.
That is how I come to undertand why Jesus said in Acts 1: 8 "you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth"
You shall be witnesses, not go witnessing, and from all the accounts of story in Acts, we can see that after empowered by the Spirit, the apostles themselves carried God's presence all around the area that they passed by. They themselves were so saturated by the Spirit that when they spoke, things happened. They were bold, they were brave, they didn't worry about "what if I speak, nothing happen how?" (smile sheepishly, that was my concern). They knew by the power of the Spirit, nothing is impossible to God. The speaking is only a releasing of power, a outlet for power to flow.
And I looked at myself, my life in current state, I knew there is more to it than the life that I am living in it. I am contented with what I have, Yet, I earnestly pursue the best that God plans for me. For it is will of God that granted me desire to dwell in the fullness of life that breathes after Christ.
Surprisingly I found there is no one around in the office.lol..praise the Lord, I started to let the tongues express itself loudly. And I was asking the Lord, something missing, show me.
The Lord said, "The power is in you, release it!"
"How?"
"you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth"
"huh??"
He gave me a picture of ripple that caused by stone thrown in the river. From center spreading over the whole lake.
I got Him. Jerusalem, is the certen of where Jesus' Disciple stayed, and 2nd layer- Judea, and to Samaria, and to the end of the world.
So it is to me from those who are closest to me. I was on fire, became bold! I remembered Moses, a stummer stood in front of Pharoah proclaiming "Let my people go." What I have is a far great glorious convenant that is cut between Father and Jesus, I started to take authority and commanded the ruler of this world loose control of my loved ones, my family members, each one of them. And prayed over those friends that I love deeply, for their family(including rebekah), and walked up to my supervior's seat and lay hands on her windbreaker to command the affliction left her, and I went near to Pastor's office, praying out loud at the door of his office that he shall be saturated by the Spirit that outpouring of the Spirit through him bring a great harvest into this church. I tell you, that was fun!
Lol... All things are possible for God!
P.S. The Lord deals with each one individually. It may or may not be the conviction of what the Lord is telling you for now. this is my personal experience, served to edify myself and some brothers and sisters who are currently in the same phrase of walking with the Lord. For no one gets personal glory, fullness of God is shown in the body of Christ. God is adorning His Son's bride with all the blessings! Praise Him!
The Spirit
Friend passed me two movie tickets for my mom and I to enjoy last night - Korean movie " A Sweetbitter life" or something like that, can't remember. Advice you not to watch, too bloody and too depressing.
Replied one of my friends' sms in that kinda depressing mode. And obviously, thanks for the prayer that you intercessed for me right away after you received my sms, in front of the Lord, as you said, the Lord knew what would happen, and your prayer was answered...lol... Praise the Lord for fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, Yah?!
Anyway, it was just so happened that the book that was placed beside my pillow was "Smith Wigglesworth on Healing". To me there is no way that I won't be lifted up after reading Smith Wigglesworth's sermon transcripts. lol...
This part spoke right into my heart while I was reading the book before I fell in sleep:
How will we reach these beatitudes in the Spirit? How will we come into the presence of God? How will we attain to these divine principles? Beloved, it is not in the flesh and never was! How can it be, when the Scripture plainly says that if we live according to the flesh we will die (Rom.8:13)? but if we live "by the Spirit", we will "put to death the deeds of the body"(v13) and will find that "mortality [will] be swallowed up by life (2 Cor. 5:4). Life will prevail in the body and in the mind, over self, over disease, over everything in the world, so that we may walk around without being distracted by any bodily ailments. Are we in this place?
AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....I just love this kinda people who are so immersed in the presence of Jesus Christ, that sometimes when they speak, you can't tell who is the Lord, who is that person. It is as if He Himself standing in front of you and speak to you with words of love and care.
To me, this is something spoken in the right time and right season. I was just distracted by bodily ailments: Rebekah's suffering, a past argument with someone I by no means (Double negative, by no means, no way..lol...) will to hurt, an unconsiderate room mate who woke my mom up in the middle of night by laughing out loud through phone while everyone was sleeping previous night, a depresssing movie...lol..And my emo temperature indicator was dropping low low down. That was a life experience of what the Scripture said "For to be carnally minded is death" (Rom. 8: 6). Death was creeping in un-noticingly while I put my guard down.
God is loving, while I fell, He picked my up, when I was distracted and put on flesh, He showed me the truth about Spirit:
but if we live "by the Spirit", we will "put to death the deeds of the body"(v13) and will find that "mortality [will] be swallowed up by life" (2 Cor. 5:4). Life will prevail in the body and in the mind, over self, over disease, over everything in the world, so that we may walk around without being distracted by any bodily ailments
Mortallity be swallowed up by life. Life prevail in the body and in the mind!!!! over self, over disease, over everything in the world, so that we may walk around without being distracted by any bodily ailments. - That is the "throne life", that is the life of a king or a conqueror in Christ. And that is the life that I am earnestly pursuing, labouringly enter, that is what I think the true rest.
I remembered I have said this to Immanuel, that it seemed Bible talks little about feelings. Especially in Jesus' life, there are only very few places describe how Jesus felt. Other than that we seldom read about how Jesus felt over situation arised. Does it mean that God by the Spirit cared less how Jesus felt? Obviously not. But to me, it is a hint from the Lord, that the truth of the matter is we, born of spirit, we, children of the Most high, we, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, are far above all repoarch, be it instilled by others or by ourselves.
If we subject to our feelings comes from flesh, death dwells, if we realize we are kings, reigning over our feelings according to the resurrection power that indwells in us, life reigns, and the mortality will be swallowed up by life.
Spirit rules! Spirit REIGNS!
No Subject
Not keen to finish ps 34: 18 series...not at the time being. Cause sometimes we understand how broken we were, we understand How great God is to us.
But not willing to riding on the wave of brokeness. A bit depressing to me.. So yep...tat would be a stop for that as long as I have the peace. If not so be it..haha..
For Jesus loves me so.
Ps 34: 18 - I
I knew that it sorta come to the end of human strength, and human tolerance. It is heart broken and spirit crushing to see a little angel like Rebekah suffered this way.
Don't give up, Daddy and Mommy, don't give up. All seemed like at the end of the road, but there is nothing impossible to God.
We, who praying for her constantly, will never know how exactly Dad and Mom feel seeing rebekah totured by sickness. But God knows, God knows exactly how you feel, 'cause He had seen His Son, His only begotten Son hanging on the cross, tortured for 6 hours. And He had to turn His back to Jesus, because Jesus was bearing all our sins, so that now He will never turn His back on us, on rebekah. He loves her. He loves her.
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do not be afraid, only believe"
- Mark 5: 36
Remember this stoy? Jairus' daughter? Jesus concerned about not only the little gal but also the little gal's father while hearing upon the bad news. Jesus looked at him firmly in his eyes, assured and comforted a broken heart "Do not be afraid, only believe" I can imagine how much comfort Jarius took from this sentence tat was spoken by Jesus. This same Jesus is loving you, Dad and Mom today. He knows your fear, your pain. And He is close to you and He saves still today!
Do not be afraid, only believe, even we do not know how to believe, Jesus believes and He heals. For Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. For He is our God.
All my feelings fail, my tears flood out non stop, but regardless my feeling, I know Jesus heals. And Rebekah shall live.
I am not plead with You God for healing, for healing has been provided on the cross, by Your stripes.
She shall live!
Ann
This email was written to Rebekah's family after reading the monday entry. I choose not to say too much for my emotion fails and my tears fails. But God never fails. This I know, this I know.
He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Amen!
Ps 34: 18 - Prelude
Psalm 34: 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
(NIV)
I heard about and read about this verse for past few days. A story was told to me about how Daddy God brought a brokenhearted darling of the Lord into healing and wholeness by this verse. Very touching and this verse seemed to echo at back of my mind non-stop. (Thanks to you who keep on sharing this verse to me...lol...)
My reading today was Mark 5 and 6, yet I was remined of Psalm 34: 18 while I read through all the story accounts in Mark 5 and 6.
A demon-possessed man...
A woman with issue of blood for 12 years...
A ruler of synagogue with a daughter dying and eventually died at home...
A 12 year-old girl suffered and died of disease...
A group of disciples whose teacher (John the Baptist) was beheaded by Herod...
The multitudes of hunger souls...
His own disciples who was frightened by the waves and wind...
They were people who were not related to each other (except the ruler of synagogue and the 12-year-old gal), different background, different experience they had in life, different suffering they were going through, yet there was one thing common among them-they are fitting the catergory of "the brokenhearted and the crushed in spirit".
To us, they are stories told in the Bible; to Jesus, they were object of His love. To us, they are faces in the crowd; to Jesus, they were individually precious in His eyes.
I WIll Never Leave You Nor Forsake You - Fly Away
FLY AWAY
When will you be home?" she asks
as we watch the planes take off
We both know we have no clear answer
to where my dreams may lead
She's watched me as I crawled and stumbled
As a child, she was my world
And now to let me go, I know she bleeds
and yet she says to me
You can fly so high
Keep your gaze upon the sky
I'll be praying every step along the way
Even though it breaks my heart to know we'll be so far apart
I love you too much to make you stay
Baby fly away
Autumn leaves fell into spring time and
Silver-painted hair
Daddy called one evening saying
"We need you. Please come back"
When I saw her laying in her bed
Fragile as a child
Pale just like an angel taking flight
I held her as I cried
You can fly so high
Keep your gaze upon the sky
I'll be praying every step along the way
Even though it breaks my heart to know we'll be so far apart
I love you too much to make you stay
Baby fly away
Listening to Corrinne's Fly Away. I can relate to it much.
The chance that I received to come out aboard was for my sis. She was not willing and I took up the opportunity. That year, I was 17.
Flying away from my mom, was a painful decision for her for I am the youngest child - the spoilt one.
I still remembered in the Airport in GuangZhou 1998, me and my mom both didn't cry till I stepped on the esscalator, till mom was not within my sight, tears flooded out from my heart, and my mom's.
Greater love is not to stick with someone you love, greater act of love is to let go.
Mom taught me that, and I know it takes such a great courage on her side and moreover because of this, I got the chance to encounter the greatest Love in my life, Jesus.
Mom din't know she had invest what kinda eternal value and treasure in my life.
What did You think and how did You feel Daddy, when You sent off Jesus to His journey on this earth? You knew well He would be tried, He would suffer, He would be a lonely Stranger all by Himself. He is such a delight and He never walked out of Your sight. Yet what kinda mix feelings You had when You saw Your only begotten Son started His journey from fully God became fully Man?
And even while He was on this earth, You and Him were together till the moment of cross. What kinda horrible separation that Jesus experience while You had to turn Your back and left Him alone, what kinda pain was that to You?
No one could ever comprehend, Bible seems also remain slient about it, or maybe there is a record somewhere, I do not know. I only know more and more, day and day in a increasing measure about this Love that I bank on.
For we are not the ones to hold on this Love, but this Love holds on us. Because God had let go of Jesus for the journey, Jesus brought us back home, and God would never let go of us.
Amen!
